Do I have to be
able to handstand
to sign up?

 

Absolutely not! I will meet you exactly where you are in your practice and has trained many people with zero experience.


I’m scared to
go upside down –
is that normal?

 

Yes, I was too. I think that is the best part of learning from someone who learned to invert as an adult – I get it. I was there too, fear and all. It’s my job as your teacher to give you the right tools to help you sit with your fear over time. It will start to fade – I promise.


How long will it
take me to get my
handstand?

 

I don’t know – and if any teacher tells you a specific time it will take you RUN. Just kidding (but kind of not). Each person is different, and your journey will completely unique to you. Consistency and commitment are the keys to progress in the handstand game, so the more you commit, the more progress you will make. Handstanding is not a linear process. There will be ups and downs in your progress – just like in life – but the more you can lean in – the more your will learn (about handstands and about yourself).
